Contemporary Amman
Who we are and What we do
We offer quality dance and performance training in the heart of the city. What makes what we do different is our emphasis on cultivating our students' abilities to create. We love storytelling and believe that everyone has a unique voice. When we are in touch with our authenticity our presence becomes transformative.
Dance Training and Performance Program
Open to those betwen the ages of 4-16, our 9 month comprehensive dance training and performance program combines intensive training in choreography and performance with technique classes in Contemporary Dance and Ballet. We teach the international Rambert Grades curriculum in combination with our own methodology using improvisation as a learning tool to support creativity and reflective thinking skills. We focus on cultivating student creativity and performance presence and developing strong technique efficiently through somatic awareness. Progress is documented through student dance portfolios and an internationally recognised grading system.
We teach the international Rambert Grades and Royal Academy of Dance curriculums in combination with our own methodology using improvisation as a learning tool to support creativity and reflective thinking skills. We want dance to be a lifetime skill and for that to be a choice. From experience we know that this requires the encouragement of an independent learning spirit. Our students come to class motivated to learn.
