Contemporary Amman
Who we are and What we do
Does your daughter or son dance around the living room to their favourite song? Are they the ones performing in front of the family? If you are looking for a place for your kids to have fun, make friends and learn something new then Contemporary Amman is the right place for you.
We offer quality dance training and performance in the heart of the city, near the 4th circle in Jabal Amman. Our space is inclusive and offers a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn dance and express themselves.
Dance Training and Performance Program
Open to those between the ages 4-18, our 9 month comprehensive dance training and performance program combines intensive training in choreography and performance with technique classes in contemporary dance and Ballet. The program starts in September 2025 and ends with a big performance showcase for family and friends at the end of May 2026.
Our ethos is to move away from the typical spoonfeeding dance teaching methods by placing emphasis on independent learning. From experience we know that it is vital for students to come to class motivated to learn. We teach the international Rambert Grades and Royal Academy of Dance curriculums in combination with our own methodology using improvisation as a learning tool to support creativity and reflective thinking skills. We want dance to be a lifetime skill and for that to be a choice.
